E&M have worked together since 2016. Eleanora is from Scotland and Mate is originally from Hungary, having lived in Scotland since 2014 he calls Scotland his home.
They have enjoyed working together in Scotland, Hungary, Central and South America and Iceland. From their times abroad they have learnt how to take their work back to its roots. Learning the full process of sourcing and milling their own wood they expand their understanding of the medium with which they work.
They have a love of exploring and of adventure; taking two years in their early twenties to explore Colombia, Ecuador and Peru; traversing the Andes Mountains with three mules as their companions.

Based in central Scotland they live off-grid, growing their own food and cooking their meals on a wood burning stove.
Their love for adventure fuels their passion for woodwork, resulting in carefully crafted creations that reflect both their experiences and artistry.
